this Creme de la Mer is supposed to be the best face lotion on the planet. ok, it may cost an outragous $90 for 1 oz of this cream, but they say it is a miracle. it was created by a NASA aerospace physicist (are you listening, seth?) and it is used by all of the most glamorous stars…. i’ve heard Hether Locklear takes baths in it…. i certainly can’t afford this stuff, but don’t you think i’m worth it? it’s available at Halls on the Plaza, if you were wondering, and they have an eye cream, face serum, and some sort of miracle waters that go with it, but i would be more than happy to just get my hands on some of the cream!

travis and i went to my parents land yesterday with my family to celebrate thanksgiving. we had foil dinners and s’mores which were both very delicious. i had a fun time.

i already have this, so it isn’t a christmas gift idea…. i just really like it. this is the new Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink. I got it at Nordstrom last wednesday with my mom. it is really nice. it makes your skin glow, just a bit, and it doubles as a blush or shimmery eye shadow.

(just a suggestion, anything from Bobbi Brown would make a lovely gift… especially the Face Blender Brush. i really need that to go with my Shimmer Brick.)

at work on saturday we had a contest to sell these cathedral candles. for every candle you sell you get your name in a drawing for one free 6×6’ candle of your own…. i sold 6 candles, so i hope i am the winner! on the first weekend in december i work sunday and we are having a christmas cd contest…. so if you need a christmas cd, come see me!

to continue our family tradition of terminator on christmas, someone is going to have to get Terminator 3 for a present… i wouldn’t mind getting it becuase i thought it was pretty good and it really rounded out the trilogy with a good ending (or is it just the beginning?). also, T3 holds a dear spot in my heart since it was the movie we all saw on the eve of my wedding. it may not be a $10 gift idea, but it’s close.

this is our mantel with our new garland (stupid garland broke all of my frames) and our new picture frame and votive holder from PB. it still needs some work, and it will look more christmassy once our stockings are done, but what do you think?

guess what! travis and i went to target tonight and we found a tinsel tree! it was only $19.99! we bought a couple little ornaments, too! we are ready for christmas! i am so excited!
