martha stewart crafts

I finally got to Michaels to check out the new Martha Stewart Crafts stuff. Everyone on the internet has been raving about the perfection of this stuff and I have been dying to check it out. I was quite impressed with the whole presentation of the crafts supples and the packaging. (I especially like how the “art” in Martha is highlighted in blue.) I even snapped the above photos of the Martha Stewart aisle. I was tempted to purchase a lot of things, like these glitter letters in pink or any color of glitter or ribbon, but all I actually took home was this photo storage box. Travis got quite tired of walking up and down the aisle with me debating whether I should purchase one of the cute little tubes of vellum or tissue paper. I really want to get this ribbon storage box, but they did not have it at my local Michaels. The giant 18×18″ scrapbooking album was a little over the top, but all in all, I greatly approve of the complete Martha Stewart Crafts line!

That’s pretty cool! I LOVE glitter stickers. I just bought some silver and black ones but couldn’t find any pink ones. I guess you’ve always loved anything glitter, so the martha stewart crafts are perfect for you!!

Gramma saw this display last week and was really raving about it too. So, now that it appeals to all generations, guess I’ll have to go check it out! How does it feel to be finishing up at school?

Okay, you’ve convinced me. I’m going after work. I’ve been wanting to check it out for a while, but since I’m currently in need of more rhinestones, I may as well trek out to Michaels. (Note to self: Do not max out credit card on fun craft supplies.)

Her stuff even at M’s is sooooooo ’spensive to me.
Oh and you can totally MAKE that ribon box. Scrapbookers have been doing so for years! You use a shoeox and a dowel rod, and mod podge the box with any paper you want. You can probably google instructions. You could even use giant eyelets [grommets] to make holes instead of that slit and run one ribbon thru each hole. The rolls stay on the dowel rod and the box lid hides the inside.
