For Jen:

1. I am friends with you because you have been a constant internet buddy since I found your blog through a mix cd swap years ago. You are very cool and you make awesome hand-sewn pouches and other goodies. Plus, you read my blog and you have awesome taste in music!
2. I associate you with stitch-markers and beagles…. and moustaches, but maybe that is just nat.
3. I like your attitude and your ideas and your photographs. I also like the name of your blog!
4. A memory I have of you: We have participated in a few mix cd swaps and you always send the awesomest cds with professional quality cover designs. I still listen to your cds. Also, I once ordered a hand-made pouch from you and you sent me all sorts of extras including a small sock monkey pouch that I use to carry my business cards and a pink fabric keychain which I have had on my keys since I received it. Also, you and Nat tried out Swap-bot in the very beginning which was very kind and helpful.
5. What I want to know: Is the Piddleloop Sewing Team doing any craft shows this year?

1. I am friends with you because you are my mom and because you are sweet and caring. We also have many of the same interests and I have fun talking with you.
2. I associate you with my childhood and my family. I also associate you with ice cream and Survivor.
3. I like how you love me and how you listen to my problems and ideas.
4. I have too many memories of you to pick just one, but here is a February-appropriate one: On Valentine’s Day when we were young you once (twice?) had individual heart-shaped ice cream cakes sitting at each of our places at the breakfast table. I thought that was pretty cool.
5. What I want to know: How in the world did you survive taking care of four children all under the age of four at the same time?

1. I am friends with you because you are my brother and you are really funny and smart.
2. I associate you with competitiveness and medical school… and #1 Dad t-shirts… and muddy shoes…
3. I like how you call me to talk and hang out with me when I am in town. I also like your taste in movies and your funny blog posts.
4. I have too many memories of you to pick just one, but I had a lot of fun that day we drove around to a bunch of Taco Bells to play the Star Wars game and we left cups of soda on top of the car to see how long they would stay up there while we were driving. We are cool.
5. What I want to know: As a doctor, do you believe it is possible to remove one person’s face and implant it on another person, as seen on the hit movie Face Off?

4. I have too many memories of you to pick just one, but it was really funny when you called Dad a dickweed.
5. What I want to know: Where are you and Amber planning to move when you are done in Colby?

4. My favorite memory of you is your wedding. The ceremony was just so beautiful and I had a lot of fun during the whole event. I am so happy I got to be a part of it!

1. I am friends with you because we both went to Graceland and you are a good friend of the Johnson’s… and we share many similar interests.

3. I like how you are following your passion and doing art full-time.
4. My favorite memory of you is probably your art show at Graceland. Your show set the standard for what I wanted mine to be when I was a senior.
5. What I want to know: Do you paint everyday?

2. I associate you with motherhood and baby showers… because almost every time I see you in person it is at a baby shower.
3. I like how you are dedicated to being a great mom, but you are also a cool individual with adult interests.
4. My favorite memory of you is probably chatting with you at Jen’s baby shower… because I am not sure if reading your blog counts as a memory.
5. What I want to know: What is your favorite quick and easy thing to make for dinner?

4. My favorite memory of you is when I met you for the first time and we went to Saigon 39 with Adam for lunch. I had fun and you were very nice and easy to hang out with.
5. What I want to know: Do you know what medical specialty you want to focus on?

1. I am friends with you because you are my father-in-law, and I have known you for nearly half my life… and you are very kind and funny.
2. I associate you with Travis and June and Chelsea…. and groundhogs and baseballs bets.
3. I like how welcoming you have always been to me and how well you raised your kids.
4. I have lots of memories of you, but one of my favorite was when you performed Chelsea and Scott’s wedding. You did a great job.
5. What I want to know: When are you going to run for public office?

3. I like how passionate you get about topics you discuss in your blog and also how supportive you are of your wife.
4. One good memory I have of you is when you spoke at the Olathe COC congregation a year, or two, ago. It was inspiring to see a young person so engaged in the church.
5. What I want to know: What new movie are you most looking forward to seeing in 2008 or 2009?
