Yippee! My new Hunter Wellies arrived in the mail today. I am so excited. They are my birthday present to myself. Crusher and I tried them out on a walk around our neighborhood. They are comfy and they make me feel outdoorsy. I am totally ready for the rain and snow! Although, leave it to me to buy rain boots AFTER we have decided to move away from the rainiest place on earth…

Hey now, if you check the charts NYC gets more rain than Oregon does! Average yearly precip at LaGuardia is 42 inches. Portland lists 36. So there! http://www.met.utah.edu/jhorel/html/wx/climate/normrain.html
