a month-long project

I am stealing an idea from Jenny, at True Nature, and I am going to try to post about something I am grateful for each day this month. I really need to work at being happier with who I am and what I have. I feel like I am aware of how lucky I am, but I am just always stressed and feeling down on myself. Hopefully, writing about all of the good things in my life will help me to adopt a better attitude. We’ll see…
Today, November 1st, I am grateful for Travis. My perfect husband. You may think that is an exageration, but I assure you it is not. He is strong, a good worker, kind, smart, and most of all, dependable. I am grateful that he works so hard at his job so that I can go to school without worrying. I am grateful that he is never mean to me and very patient. He also knows a lot about computers and helps me with my websites! And, he does the dishes! I am grateful that I have him to talk to and that he lets me complain to him about my silly day-to-day troubles.

Thank you Rachel.
And to clarify, Rachel is using the adjective “strong” in the “incredibly buff” kind of way.

[...] Today, I’m thankful for my wife, Alli. I am more thankful for her than anything in my life, but I would have REALLY been copying Rachel on this if I’d put her first. [...]
